Download pyontan2

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. No installer — unzip and run pyontan2.exe. Nothing else to install for most features.

First time you run it

Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen. That's SmartScreen being cautious about any new app it hasn't seen many downloads of — it isn't a virus warning. Click More info, then Run anyway. You can check your download against the SHA-256 above first (Get-FileHash pyontan2-0.1.0-windows.zip in PowerShell).

On Windows 11, Smart App Control (if it's switched on) blocks apps it doesn't recognise and offers no "Run anyway" button. If that happens, let us know through the feedback link and we'll help.

Browser extension

Translate Twitch and YouTube chat as it scrolls by. The pyontan2 Web Extension is on the Chrome Web Store (it also works in Edge and Brave) and talks to the desktop app on your own computer.

Closed source

pyontan2 is closed-source freeware during early access. Your data (history, settings, saved words) stays on your machine unless you choose to sync it to your dashboard account.
