By creating or using a pyontan2 account, you agree to these terms. pyontan2 is currently in early access — functionality, these terms, and the service itself may change as it develops.
pyontan2 is a Japanese-learning toolkit: a desktop app (click-to-translate, batch manga translation, live audio subtitles) paired with this web dashboard, which lets you browse and read your synced translation history from any browser.
Accounts are currently created by an administrator, not through open self-signup. You're responsible for keeping your password and any sync token confidential, and for all activity under your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication in Settings. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password immediately — this automatically signs out every other active session.
pyontan2's translation and reading features are provided for personal study use. When you translate a whole document and read it back through the dashboard, this is a personal study aid, not a redistribution of the source work. Don't use pyontan2 to redistribute, publish, or share translated content from copyrighted works, and don't attempt to abuse, scrape, or overload the sync API or any other part of the service.
Original artwork, text, and stories processed through pyontan2 belong to their respective creators and publishers. pyontan2 does not claim ownership over source material you translate, and translating something through pyontan2 does not grant you any rights to redistribute it.
You can permanently delete your own account at any time from Settings > Danger zone — this removes your synced library, activity history, avatar, and account record. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
pyontan2 is provided "as is," during an active early-access period, without warranty of any kind. Features, translation accuracy, and uptime are not guaranteed.
We may update these terms as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the feedback page.
