pyontan2 uses three cookies, all first-party (set by pyontan.4miau.us itself, never a third party). No advertising or analytics cookies are used anywhere on the site, and we have no advertising or analytics partners.

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function. These can't be turned off, and don't need consent under most cookie laws.

• session — a signed, httpOnly cookie holding a reference to your login session on our server. It can't be read or modified by JavaScript, on this site or any other. Without it, staying logged in wouldn't be possible.
• cookie_consent — remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner (or its "Manage options" screen), so we don't ask again on every page. Expires after 6 months.

Preferences (optional)

Not required for the site to work — you can decline these and everything still functions, just without the site remembering this one choice between visits.

• theme — remembers whether you last chose light or dark mode. Contains no personal data. If you decline Preferences cookies (or haven't chosen yet), your theme still works for the current visit. It just resets to the default next time instead of being remembered.

Analytics & marketing

None. We don't run ads, don't use any analytics or marketing cookies, and don't share data with any advertising network.

Controlling cookies

Use the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page after that, to choose which optional categories are allowed. You can also clear or block cookies directly in your browser's settings — blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in.
